Ha Tinh meets retired leaders of different periods

Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Trung Dung hopes to continue receiving the companionship and support of generations of leaders, contributing to the further development of Ha Tinh's socio-economy .

On the afternoon of July 6, at Thien Cam Tourist Area (Cam Xuyen), Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee held the second meeting with retired leaders in the province.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Trung Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran The Dung, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai; members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; former leaders of the province; former leaders of departments, branches, and sectors; former leaders of district, city, town Party Committees, and affiliated Party Committees in the area attended the meeting.

In a friendly and open atmosphere, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Trung Dung informed about the situation and results of implementing socio-economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security, Party building work and the political system in the first 6 months of 2023.

Despite facing many difficulties, the Party Committee and the People of Ha Tinh have united, made efforts, and achieved quite comprehensive results. The key tasks, key programs, and strategic breakthroughs set forth in the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress continue to be concretized through resolutions, policies, plans, and projects.

Notably, Ha Tinh's economic growth in the first months of 2023 is estimated at 5.02%; industrial production is gradually regaining growth momentum; agriculture has a good harvest. Budget revenue in the area is estimated at VND 8,760 billion, reaching 46% of the estimate, equal to 80% of the same period. Site clearance and resettlement work for the North-South Expressway project is being focused on. In particular, the province has successfully organized a conference to announce the Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, and promote investment in the area.

Trade, tourism, and services have gradually recovered; investment attraction has shown positive signs. Administrative reform, improvement of the investment and business environment associated with digital transformation continue to be focused on.

The cultural and social fields continue to receive attention. Key education maintains its achievements, successfully signing a cooperation agreement with Hanoi National University. National defense and security are ensured. Labor, employment, meritorious people and social security policies are implemented synchronously. Party building and the political system are focused on, strengthening the Party's strength and the people's trust...

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Trung Dung also informed retired leaders in the province about the key tasks of the province in the coming time and hoped to receive the companionship, support and positive comments of generations of leaders with extensive experience in previous work so that the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and sectors and localities can successfully complete strategic tasks, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.
