
Director of Nam Ha Tinh Irrigation Company, Tran Manh Cuong, said that according to the forecast of Ha Tinh Hydrometeorological Station, from now until June 13, Ha Tinh area will have moderate to heavy rain, some places will have very heavy rain with common rainfall of 30 - 80mm, some places over 150mm.
To proactively respond to forecasts of heavy rain and ensure safety for projects and downstream areas, the unit has regulated the spillway discharge of several reservoirs such as Tau Voi Lake, Khe Xai Lake, Da Han Lake, Da Cat Lake, Van Vo Lake, etc.
As of 11:00 a.m. on June 12, Khe Xai Lake's water level at 26m, capacity 10.71 million m3 , was overflowing with a flow rate of 5m3 /second; Tau Voi Lake at 15m, capacity 6.76 million m3 , was overflowing with a flow rate of 10m3 /second; Da Han Lake at 38m, capacity 19.12 million m3 , was overflowing with a flow rate of 8m3 /second; Da Cat Lake was overflowing with a flow rate of 2.25m3 /second.
At the same time, some small-capacity, free-flowing reservoirs have been operating such as: Ma Leng Lake, Dap Hoi Lake, Nha Lao Lake, Khe Dai Lake, Dap Ho Lake, Con Troi Lake...
Water levels of some large reservoirs in Ha Tinh on June 12 include: Ngan Truoi reservoir 38.18/52m, equivalent to a capacity of 309.43/775.7 million m3 ; Ke Go reservoir 29.91/32.5m, equivalent to a capacity of 272.75/345 million m3 ; Song Rac reservoir 22.72/23.2m, equivalent to a capacity of 117.21/ 124.5m3 .
