HAGL turns a new page
V-League will officially "finish" after round 26 on June 22. However, from now on, it can be confirmed that Minh Vuong's future will no longer be at HAGL. The midfielder born in 1995 will join Binh Phuoc Club with a contract with a signing fee of about 5 billion VND/season, along with a worthy salary and benefits. Thus, from next season, HAGL will no longer have famous stars from classes 1 and 2 of HAGL Academy, who have played for the national teams before.
HAGL says goodbye to key players so that young players can play more in V-League

From V-League 2025 - 2026, HAGL will be very different when there are no more skilled players leading the play, creating beautiful football, attracting football fans nationwide. However, the mountain town team still has a force of young players trained by themselves from gifted courses at Ham Rong Center.
In the 2-3 loss to SLNA in round 25, coach Le Quang Trai let 4 players born in 2003 or later, including Pham Ly Duc, Cao Hoang Minh, Tran Trung Kien (born in 2003), Vo Phuoc Bao (2004), enter the starting lineup. In the second half, Mr. Trai sent Nguyen Minh Tam, Hoang Minh Tien (2005), Dinh Quang Kiet (2007), Tran Gia Bao (2008) into the field. This group of 8 players is considered the mainstay of the mountain town team in the 2025-2026 season.
These players are also eligible to compete for a place in the U.22 Vietnam team at the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand at the end of the year if they perform well. They, along with other young faces such as Nguyen Van Trieu (2003), Moi Se (2005), will be the key players helping HAGL prove themselves in the V-League arena.
Coach Quang Trai shared: "In addition to Trung Kien and Ly Duc, two young players Cao Hoang Minh and Dinh Quang Kiet can compete for a spot in the U.22 Vietnam team at SEA Games 33 if given the opportunity. Looking forward to next season, HAGL will boldly use players like Tran Gia Bao and three players born in 2005: Minh Tam, Minh Tien and Moi Se."
Coach Quang Trai added: "Minh Tam and Minh Tien, who used to play for the U.20 Vietnam team, will be given more opportunities to adapt and play more in the V-League 2025 - 2026. Some players who are playing for Long An Club in the first division with good ability assessments will be re-examined by us. Midfielders Thanh Son (born in 1997) and Dinh Lam (2000), Huu Phuoc (2001) ... will begin to take on key roles for the team when the big players leave. Next season will be very stressful for HAGL with many young and new players, the coaching staff will have to work harder to hope to achieve good results."
In the 2025 - 2026 season, HAGL will have a generational transition similar to the 2015 season when Cong Phuong's generation was promoted to the first team to play in the V-League. To lead the young players in the new season, the mountain town team needs to recruit some experienced players to form the core, create a solid framework and especially recruit quality foreign players, in order to avoid unstable performance like in the past seasons.
HAGL does not use overseas Vietnamese players
Coach Le Quang Trai confirmed that HAGL will not register to use overseas Vietnamese players, instead giving opportunities to young players trained by themselves to play. Thus, HAGL will only field 3 foreign players instead of 5 Westerners (3 foreign players, 2 overseas Vietnamese players) like other teams.
