Two Thai businesses join hands with FPT to promote digital transformation

Within the framework of the Vietnam - Thailand Business Forum 2025, witnessed by Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra and Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, FPT and Sunline - a provider of software solutions and technology services in the banking sector, signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation to promote digital transformation in the financial and retail sectors.

With more than two decades of experience providing technology services and solutions to global banks, insurance companies and financial institutions, FPT will support Sunline in improving its system integration capabilities and deploying digital banking, digital lending and core banking technology solutions to meet growing market demand, amid the strong shift to a virtual banking model in Thailand.

The two sides expect that this cooperation will significantly contribute to promoting the digital transformation process for financial institutions in Thailand, improving customer experience, modernizing the system and building a flexible operating platform, adapting to the strong transformation of the banking industry.

On the morning of May 16 at FPT Tower headquarters, FPT signed a cooperation agreement with Buzzebees - the leading digital platform for customer care and experience management, supporting businesses in the fields of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), retail, finance and telecommunications, deploying integrated, innovative and scalable digital solutions. The two parties will join forces to enhance customer experience and engagement, modernize the system, and optimize operational efficiency. The first projects within the cooperation framework are expected to bring clear business results this year.

In the field ofeducation , witnessed by the Prime Ministers of the two countries, FPT University, FPT Corporation and King Monkut University officially signed a memorandum of cooperation on implementing joint training programs and student exchange programs in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics, and Automotive Automation. FPT University and Khonkaen University signed a memorandum of cooperation to develop a semiconductor human resource training program for Thailand. This cooperation is within the framework of the Semiconductor Sandbox program of the Thai Government, implemented by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation of Thailand (MHESI).

Thailand is one of FPT's key markets in the APAC region. FPT has affirmed its position as a trusted digital transformation partner of leading Thai enterprises in many fields such as banking and finance, with typical partners such as KBTG, SCB, KKP, TTB, Bangkok Bank and other fields such as insurance, retail, automobile, manufacturing, healthcare , energy, consumer goods and aviation. Recently, the company has cooperated with the Thai Investment Council in Hanoi to promote trade and investment activities and provide high-quality technology human resources to meet the growing demand for digital transformation.
