Two districts give up resettlement land to Bien Hoa residents to build highway

Both Trang Bom and Long Thanh districts have taken turns handing over plots of land to Bien Hoa to resettle people who have given up land to build the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway.

On November 27, the People's Committee of Long Thanh district ( Dong Nai ) said that the locality has handed over to Bien Hoa city 100 land lots in the resettlement area of Long Duc commune to serve the resettlement arrangement for households in the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project area.

Long Thanh's move to give resettlement land to Bien Hoa residents has partly helped the locality speed up site clearance to implement the project.

Bien Hoa is facing difficulties in site clearance, partly because resettlement arrangements have not met demand.

According to the plan, to serve the resettlement of households in the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project area through Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai will build two resettlement areas in Phuoc Tan and Tam Phuoc.

Recently, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province has approved the construction of infrastructure for a resettlement area of over 49 hectares in Phuoc Tan ward, expected to start construction in December. This resettlement area has nearly 1,000 resettlement plots and 4 high-rise housing blocks, meeting the population size of about 8,000 people. The project has a total investment of over 1,111 billion VND, of which the construction cost is over 817 billion VND.

Tam Phuoc resettlement area is expected to be implemented by 2025.

Long Duc resettlement area is located next to Bien Hoa - Vung Tau highway.

Therefore, the two resettlement areas of Bien Hoa still cannot meet the resettlement needs of people who give up land for the expressway. Therefore, Dong Nai is forced to arrange resettlement for Bien Hoa households to Trang Bom and Long Thanh to stabilize their lives.

It is known that in addition to 100 land plots in the resettlement area of Long Duc commune, in Long Thanh district, there are also 73 land plots in An Thuan resettlement area, Long An commune that are also qualified to be handed over to Bien Hoa city to serve the resettlement arrangement at the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project according to the needs of the people.

Construction progress on many highway sections is very good.

In addition, Binh Minh resettlement area, Trang Bom district also has 151 plots of land with completed infrastructure construction, which can be immediately handed over to Bien Hoa city for resettlement arrangement.
