Export turnover alone reached 1,447.6 million USD, with main items including: coal, alloys, ore, Red Bull, wood chips, blast furnace slag, steel, etc.

By facilitating customs clearance, the Ha Tinh Provincial Customs Department collected over 4,033 billion VND for the state budget, reaching 36.8% of the assigned target (10,968 billion VND); a decrease of 29.4% compared to the same period in 2022 (which reached 5,708 billion VND).

The decrease in tax revenue in the first six months of the year compared to the same period last year is due to the general difficulties of the global economy following the COVID-19 pandemic, which impacted import and export activities through border gates in the province. In addition, tax refund policies under Government Decree 101/2021/ND-CP and tariff reductions under Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) also affected and reduced import and export tax revenue for the Ha Tinh Provincial Customs Department in the first six months of the year.
