Customs launches application for reporting import and export statistics

On June 27, the Customs Department launched the application "Viet Nam Customs Data" to replace traditional paper reports.

With this application, data is provided more promptly; users can access data anytime, anywhere; data is reported in a variety of forms, many intuitive charts, helping users easily monitor, analyze and grasp important information. Currently, the application provides data by day, by week and cumulative data up to the reporting time.

The target users of the application are leaders and managers at all levels, serving policy planning and executive direction.

During operation, the application "Viet Nam Customs Data" will continue to be adjusted and improved according to the macro management orientation of each period, in order to best serve the operational requirements, meet the workload and changes of the domestic and world economy .

According to Deputy Minister of Finance Bui Van Khang, putting "Vietnam Customs Data" into operation not only meets the reform requirements of the Customs sector but also contributes to implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on science and technology development and national digital transformation.

The “Vietnam Customs Data” application replaces the traditional paper reporting method, helping to strongly reform the way customs statistics are provided and used.

This is especially important in the context of international economic integration, contributing to creating a more favorable business and investment environment. The application not only improves the management and operational capacity of the Government and the Customs sector but also increases transparency, improves the investment environment, and aims to build an e-government.
