Bac Ninh holds the No. 1 export position for 3 consecutive months

In September, Bac Ninh's goods exports reached nearly 9.88 billion USD. Accordingly, Bac Ninh has ranked No. 1 in the country in terms of export turnover for the third consecutive month.

Preliminary statistics from the Customs Department ( Ministry of Finance ) show that last September, our country's export turnover reached nearly 42.67 billion USD. In the first 9 months of this year, the export turnover of goods brought in more than 348.7 billion USD, an increase of 16% over the same period last year.

If calculating the value of goods exported by province and city, Bac Ninh leads the country in September with a turnover of nearly 9.88 billion USD. This is also the third consecutive month that this locality has ranked first in the country in terms of export.

In addition to Bac Ninh and Ho Chi Minh City, the top 5 provinces and cities with the highest export turnover in the country in September also included Hai Phong with 4.34 billion USD, Phu Tho with 3.46 billion USD and Dong Nai with more than 3 billion USD.

In the first 9 months of 2025, Ho Chi Minh City still ranked first in the country, with a turnover of nearly 68.65 billion USD. With 67.03 billion USD, Bac Ninh ranked second, only 1.62 billion USD behind Ho Chi Minh City.

The positions in the top 5 are Hai Phong with 33.82 billion USD, Phu Tho with 26.56 billion USD and Dong Nai with 25.77 billion USD.

According to statistics from the Customs Department, in the past 9 months, the export turnover of the domestic economic sector reached 85.4 billion USD, up 2%; the foreign-invested sector (including crude oil) reached 263.3 billion USD, up 21.4% over the same period last year.

In the structure of total export turnover, the domestic economic sector accounts for 24.5%, while the foreign-invested sector accounts for 75.5%.

In the first 9 months of the year, there were 32 items with export turnover of over 1 billion USD, accounting for 93.1% of total export turnover.

In particular, our country has 7 export products with a turnover of over 10 billion USD, accounting for 67.9% of total export turnover.

Specifically, the group of electronics, computers and components reached nearly 77.49 billion USD, up 45.9% over the same period last year; phones of all kinds and components reached 43.59 billion USD, up 4.1%; machinery, equipment, tools and other spare parts reached nearly 43 billion USD, up 13.5%; textiles and garments reached 29.74 billion USD, up 8.6%; footwear reached 17.79 billion USD, up 7.4%; means of transport and spare parts reached 12.78 billion USD, up 13.3%; wood and wood products reached 12.45 billion USD, up 6.8%.
