Roland Garos 2023 has reached the semi-finals. Although there have been some "earthquakes", the four players who have reached the semi-finals are all seeded players who are in good form. As we predicted at the beginning of the tournament, the four seeded players who have reached the semi-finals are: Alcaraz, Djokovic, Ruud and Zverev.

Casper Ruud showed his seniority against young talent Holger Rune.

The final quarterfinal match of Roland Garros 2023 is between Holger Rune and Casper Ruud. The young Danish talent had a hard time against Cerundolo in the previous round, while the fourth seed has been winning like a knife since the beginning of the tournament.

Therefore, Rune was somewhat "overwhelmed" when the match started. The Danish player lost the break in the first service game of set 1. Ruud continued to have another break in game 6 and quickly ended the set with a score of 6-1.

The Norwegian player continued his momentum and attacked like a storm in set 2. Ruud continued to have 2 break points in game 1 and game 5, thereby winning with a score of 6-2. It was not until set 3 that Rune woke up and had excellent shots.

The No. 6 seed had a break point in the second game and maintained the advantage until the end of the set and won 6-3 in set 3. Set 4 was the most tense set when both sides continuously had break opportunities.

However, only one person could do it, Casper Ruud, and the Norwegian won 6-3 in this set to end the match with a score of 3-1 and qualify for the semi-finals of Roland Garros 2023. Ruud's opponent will be Alexander Zverev.

(Roland Garros 2023 Men's Singles Quarterfinals) Alexander Zverev had a relatively difficult match against young talent Tomas Etcheverry.

In the first set, Zverev and Etcheverry played a tug-of-war in the first 6 games. The turning point came in game 7 when Zverev broke to lead 4-3. In the next game, Etcheverry had 2 chances to break back but the Argentine failed to take advantage. Zverev then closed the match with a 6-4 victory.

In the second set, the two players created a break chase. Zverev was broken by Etcheverry twice and the German player only regained one break. The Tokyo Olympic champion lost 3-6, bringing the match back to the starting line.

Zverev even had a bad start in set 3 when Etcheverry broke his serve early. However, the German player fought back strongly to gain 2 breaks, thereby coming back to win 6-3. In set 4, Zverev gained 1 break in game 7 and maintained his advantage before winning 6-4.

The match ended after nearly 3.5 hours. This is the third consecutive time Zverev has reached the semi-finals of Roland Garros. The former world number 2 will play in the 6th Grand Slam semi-final of his career.

Thus, the two semi-finals are determined to be world number one Alcaraz vs Djokovic; the remaining semi-final is Ruud vs Zverev.

In our opinion, the two players with the potential to reach the final are Alcaraz and Ruud.

In an interview with Sportskeeda, Juan Carlos Ferrero, Carlos Alcaraz's coach, said that the clash between "little Nadal" and Novak Djokovic in the Roland Garros semi-finals (June 9) will be very unpredictable. Ferrero revealed that his student is very confident in his ability to defeat Nole despite his senior's superior experience.

I think they are both the best players in the world right now. Novak has experience of playing big matches but Carlos is really hungry to play in these matches. He is very confident that he can beat Novak. We will see. I think they are both at an incredible level."

The two semi-finals will take place at 8pm tomorrow, June 8, and will be exciting and dramatic matches.
