The two candidates had a total score of 39/40 in 4 subjects with 2 scores of 10 in Math and Physics. In the remaining two subjects, both candidates achieved 9.25 points in Literature and 9.75 points in English/Chemistry respectively.
The two runners-up, both with 38.75 points, came from Hanoi and Nghe An.

According to the 2025 high school graduation exam regulations, the formula for calculating graduation recognition scores includes the scores of the subjects the candidate takes the exam for (accounting for 50%); the average score (GPA) of grades 10, 11 and 12 (accounting for 50%) and priority and incentive points.
The Ministry of Education and Training explained that the increase in the rate of using transcripts from 30% to 50% is to more closely assess learners' abilities according to the new general education program, including many other abilities that the graduation exam does not fully assess.

How to calculate high school graduation exam scores
After knowing the score, candidates can calculate the high school graduation score as follows:
Graduation score = [(total score of 4 subjects + total incentive score)/4] + average score of all school years] / 2 + priority score (if any).
After completing the 2025 high school graduation exam score lookup, if candidates notice any irregularities in the exam scores, they can consider filing a request for review.
Candidates wishing to have their exam papers re-evaluated must submit their applications from July 16 to July 25. The re-evaluating of the exam papers (if any) will be completed by the examination boards no later than August 3.
