Sichuan Airlines will operate the Chengdu - Cam Ranh route with a frequency of 1 round trip/day. The first flight of Sichuan Airlines with 145 passengers landed safely at Cam Ranh International Airport at 5:30 p.m. on November 29.

According to information from Cam Ranh International Airport, Sichuan Airlines is the third Chinese airline to resume flights from this country to Khanh Hoa. Previously, China Southern Airlines operated the Guangzhou - Cam Ranh route with a frequency of 5 flights/week from October 2023; Ruili Airlines (China) operated the Kunming - Cam Ranh direct route with a frequency of 3 flights/week from early November 2023. In addition, Vietjet Air is currently operating charter flights connecting major cities in China with Khanh Hoa.

According to the leader of the Department of Tourism , Sichuan Airlines reopening the Chengdu - Cam Ranh route will contribute to creating conditions for Khanh Hoa tourism to attract more tourists in the coming time. On November 30 and December 1, a famtrip delegation of travel companies in Chengdu will come to Khanh Hoa to survey the province's tourism products, aiming to bring a large number of Chinese tourists to travel and relax in the land of Agarwood.
