On the evening of June 14, Vinpearl Resort Nha Trang organized an Escoffier dinner with the theme "Six Chefs - One World of Flavors". The program had the participation of 6 famous chefs from the most luxurious resorts and restaurants in Nha Trang, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City, including: Sakal Phoeung - President of Escoffier Association Vietnam (owner of two restaurants Le Corto and Livannah - Sips & Bites in Ho Chi Minh City), Azizkandar Awang (head chef of Villa Le Corail Gran Meliá resort), Oliver Corti (head chef of Le Comptoir restaurant in Da Nang - recognized with 1 Michelin star), Gilles Galli (head chef of Vinpearl Resort Nha Trang), Alain Rion (head chef of Lotte Saigon Hotel), Victor Ceano Savall (founder of Savall Chocolate Company in Da Nang). Many international diners traveling in Nha Trang bought tickets to experience this top culinary event.

In the inspiring and classy space at Jasmine restaurant of Vinpearl Resort Nha Trang, 6 famous chefs performed dishes with the excellent flavors of the Provence and Riviera regions of Southern France such as: Peppers stuffed with crab meat and avocado, grilled baby corn with black garlic, toasted bread with Comte cheese and sea anchovies; BBQ grilled spinach, salsa verde sauce, Parmesan cheese, “Berti” minced meat sauce; Octopus carpaccio with tomato tartare and Nicoise olives, goat cheese bread and tapenade, basil leaves, green olives; Gardiane-style braised beef, jus sauce, Nice-style olives, zucchini flowers, Barbajuan... The dishes are combined with carefully selected wines to bring a sophisticated and rich French culinary experience.

Also in the Six Chefs - One World of Flavors program, the Escoffier Association of Vietnam held a ceremony to admit new members. President of the Escoffier Association of Vietnam Sakal Phoeung performed the rituals to admit chef Azizkandar Awang and a number of people working in the culinary service business into the Escoffier Association of Vietnam.

Escoffier is a world- famous culinary association, with the aim of transmitting the culture and modernity of the kitchen. This association was founded in 1954 by Jean Ducroux, chef in Nice and President of Cooks Fraternal. This association will select good chefs from all over the world, admit them to the association, create conditions for them to participate in famous culinary courses in the world to develop into excellent chefs. Escoffier Association is present in countries such as: France, Canada, Italy, Mexico, Portugal, Hungary, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Russia, China, Vietnam, ... Escoffier Culinary Association Vietnam (a member of the World Escoffier Association) was established in 2002. Currently, the association has about 80 members including chefs at famous hotels, resorts, restaurants nationwide, including chefs of Michelin-starred restaurants.
