Hundreds of people draw lots to buy social housing

On the afternoon of November 19, at Thuy Van Complex Phase 2 (Hue City), Hue City Department of Construction; People's Committee, Vy Da Ward Police and project investor coordinated to organize a lottery ceremony to select social apartment locations in block XH4, high-rise apartment building OXH1, area B - An Van Duong New Urban Area (Hue City).

According to the Department of Construction of Hue City, after the customer registration process, the investor will conduct an initial review to ensure publicity, transparency and compliance with regulations; the Department will review and compare the documents again. The social housing purchase lottery is conducted when the number of buyers is higher than the number of apartments for sale. The investor organized a lottery for 40 apartments, of which 243 applications participated.

People come to draw lots to buy social housing at Ecogarden Urban Area located in Thuy Van Complex Phase 2.

According to the Hue City Department of Construction, these customers are all entitled to social housing support policies, meet all the conditions and have submitted complete home purchase registration documents to the investor and have been appraised by the Department of Construction according to regulations. However, due to duplicate apartment registrations, the investor is forced to hold a lottery to let the lucky customer own the apartment.

There are 40 apartments for sale but 243 people applied.

The project investor - Cotana Capital Real Estate Investment and Development Joint Stock Company, added that after publicly selling the apartments, the investor received 352 applications, of which 109 applications did not have to be drawn because they were not duplicate apartments, the rest had to be drawn. The apartments for sale this time are from the 2nd to the 15th floors of the XH4 social housing building, with prices ranging from 700 million to about 1.3 billion VND/apartment.

Up to now, 364 apartments in 2 buildings XH2 and XH3 have been completed and handed over to customers. Currently, the social housing block XH1 has 210 apartments under construction and is preparing to be completed and handed over to customers soon.

It is known that the social housing blocks in Ecogarden Urban Area are located in Thuy Van Complex Phase 2 - Area B of An Van Duong New Urban Area. In parallel with the construction of commercial houses, the investor reserved 20% of the land fund to build social housing. The investor also built a synchronous infrastructure system and utility chain in the urban area including: swimming pool, gym, green cores, walking paths, clubhouse, children's playground...
