Journey "I love my Fatherland" in Bo Y commune

The "I love my country" Journey program was organized by Quang Ngai Provincial Youth Union in coordination with Bo Y International Border Gate Border Guard Station, Bo Y Defense Command of Region 2 and Bo Y Commune People's Committee solemnly at the Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia border junction milestone. This is one of the locations chosen by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union to hold the flag-raising ceremony along with other extreme points of the Fatherland. Within the framework of the program, many meaningful activities took place, spreading love for the homeland and country, notably the flag-raising ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Under the national flag, in a solemn atmosphere, cadres, soldiers and youth union members sang the national anthem together. Affirming the determination of the army and people to firmly protect the sacred and inviolable sovereignty of the Fatherland. Arousing the spirit of solidarity and national pride. At the same time, reminding the youth to cherish every inch of land left by their ancestors, to live proactively, creatively, and to devote themselves to the present and future of the country.

“When I joined this program, I felt very proud and happy. I also told myself that I had to study well and practice to contribute to building and protecting the country,” Huyen shared.

 

With the theme “Proud of the national epic”, the flag-raising ceremony at the three-border landmark is a meaningful and sacred activity in the second stage of the “I love my Fatherland” Journey in 2025, implemented by the Quang Ngai Provincial Youth Union. Bo Y commune, where the three-border landmark is considered the “heart” of the Journey, was honored to be chosen by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union to organize the flag-raising ceremony along with 10 other extreme points of the Fatherland.

“In the Journey I Love My Fatherland 2025, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union of Quang Ngai province will organize practical activities for people in border and island areas through activities such as presenting national flags and Uncle Ho's photos to help union members and young people arouse their patriotism and remind them to always remember the sacrifices of their ancestors on a very special occasion when the entire Party, the entire army and the entire people are looking forward to the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2nd”, said Ms. Y Viet Sa.

The Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union presented national flags, Uncle Ho's photos and social security gifts to people in Bo Y commune.

Within the framework of the program, the Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union presented 300 national flags, 50 photos of Uncle Ho and social security gifts to people in Bo Y commune. Bringing love and practical actions to the border area, continuing the journey "I love my Fatherland" to be more brilliant./.
