As part of the project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, 62 poor and near-poor households in Krông Ana commune who are facing housing difficulties and need to build new houses have received attention and support.
With a high sense of responsibility, the attention of the province, the active coordination of departments, agencies, and organizations, and the joint efforts of the people, the program has been bringing about many positive changes. To date, 62 out of 62 houses (with a construction support fund of 80 million VND/house) have been completed, ensuring the conditions for use; and guaranteeing quality and progress.

According to Nguyen Minh Chi, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Krong Ana commune, and Head of the Steering Committee for the Elimination of Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Krong Ana commune: " The project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses is a major, humane policy of the Party and the State aimed at helping poor households have stable and safe housing, and rise out of poverty sustainably. With the spirit of 'The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one should be left behind,' these new houses demonstrate the spirit of solidarity, closeness, and mutual support, thereby supporting and helping poor and near-poor households to have more willpower and determination to rise up, stabilize their lives, comply well with the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws, actively participate in the nationwide movement to protect national security, and join hands with the people in the commune to build a new life."

On this occasion, the Steering Committee for the Elimination of Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in the commune presented gifts such as electric fans and essential goods to the families. In particular, Comrade Nguyen Minh Chi, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of the commune, personally presented each family with two purple crape myrtle saplings with the message "Nurturing green roofs, fostering healthy living - For a perpetually green Krong Ana."
