The journey back to the source with the theme "Continuing the flame of revolutionary tradition", commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Nui Thanh Victory was held with many meaningful activities.
The members visited the Vu Hung Guerrilla Team Memorial Site, the Nui Thanh Victory Monument and participated in competitions organized by the Nui Thanh District Youth Union, including: Dressing up as "Liberation Soldiers", cooking "Resistance Meals" and tearing and pasting pictures recreating the battle of Nui Thanh. Five teams from various units and localities competed enthusiastically.
The team consisting of members and youth of the Coast Guard Region 2 Command and the High School Youth Union excellently won first prize in the "Liberation Soldier" costume contest and second prize in the "Resistance Meal" cooking contest, and won second prize overall.
The program helps members review the heroic history of the army and people of Quang Nam , affirming the significance of the victory at Nui Thanh in the resistance war against the US. The activity also creates opportunities for exchange, practice skills, strengthen solidarity and organize useful recreational activities for young people.
