The political report at the congress affirmed that during the past term, the Party Committee of the Postgraduate Training System and the Academy of Politics regularly followed the practical situation, synchronously implemented solutions to improve the quality of education and training, scientific research, and build a clean and strong Party Committee.

Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Sy Loc, Director of the Academy of Politics, gave a speech at the congress.

As a result, 100% of students achieved good and excellent results in exams (of which 16.85% achieved excellent results, exceeding the target by 11.85%); 100% of theses and dissertations achieved good and excellent results (of which 95.25% achieved excellent results, exceeding the target by 20.25%); 100% of graduate students and doctoral students participated in scientific research, with many topics of high practicality, practically serving the training work and tasks of the unit.

The Party Committee of the System especially focuses on leading the building of a strong, comprehensive, "exemplary, typical" unit. Party building work was identified as the key in the past term. Inspection and supervision work was carried out according to plan and principles, contributing to maintaining Party discipline.

Speaking at the congress, Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Sy Loc, Director of the Academy of Politics, acknowledged and praised the achievements of the Postgraduate Training System in the past term. He requested the Party Committee and the System's commanders to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity, strengthening leadership and direction to improve the quality of training and scientific research, linking theory with practice; proactively researching and updating modern educational trends, developing training programs in an open, interconnected and integrated direction.

In particular, the focus is on improving the quality of the teaching staff towards standardization and modernization; enhancing scientific research capacity and applying technology in teaching; promoting connections with units, conducting well the survey and assessment of training needs to build practical programs. Along with that, continuing to encourage students to link learning with solving practical tasks; building specialized research groups; developing digital libraries, electronic lecture systems, and shared scientific material warehouses to serve the self-study and self-research process; focusing on building an increasingly clean and strong Party organization to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
