Danger lurks on the new route

The 5.5km-long road project connecting National Highway 1 to the old Ngu Thuy Bac Sea Square (now Cam Hong Commune, Quang Tri Province) has been put into use after construction. However, on this route there are many uncovered sewer manholes, posing a potential safety risk.

Currently, on this route there are 189 uncovered sewer manholes. Many people who often travel on this route say that although the route is long and beautiful, many of the manholes are uncovered, which are like traps for passersby...

It is known that in March 2025, relevant units discovered the theft of sewer manhole covers on this route and reported it to the police. The authorities then investigated and recovered 54 cast iron manhole covers. Danger lurks on the new route

Currently, the authorities request relevant agencies to urgently find the person who stole the sewer manhole cover to handle it according to the provisions of the law.
