Hiep Hoa promotes administrative reform, improves service quality for people

On the afternoon of July 28, 2025, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Pham Tan Hoa and the working delegation had a working session with the People's Committee of Hiep Hoa commune on the operation of two-level local government after implementing administrative merger in the area.

Working scene

Hiep Hoa Commune was officially established on July 1, 2025 on the basis of merging three old communes: Tan Phu, Hiep Hoa and Hiep Hoa Town. After the merger, the commune has an area of 55.02 km², a population of more than 32,800 people, with 17 hamlets. The infrastructure system and basic health and education institutions are maintained with 7 schools and 3 medical stations.

  The Commune People's Committee has urgently completed the organization, arranged personnel according to regulations, ensuring that administrative activities are not interrupted. Specialized departments and offices such as the Office of the People's Council - People's Committee, Economic Department, Cultural - Social Department, and the Commune Public Administration Service Center have been established, and operating regulations have been issued synchronously. Currently, the whole commune has 257 cadres, civil servants, public employees and part-time workers.

Administrative reform has been promoted by connecting the electronic one-stop system with the National Public Service Portal. 100% of records are received and processed on time online, contributing to improving the quality of service to the people.

In his concluding remarks, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Tan Hoa highly appreciated the efforts of the commune government during the merger period, ensuring effective operation of the apparatus, without interruption of people's access to public services. At the same time, he requested relevant departments and branches to closely coordinate with the locality to gradually remove difficulties, supplement human resources, invest in technological equipment and perfect the management software system.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also noted that the locality should focus on improving the quality of civil servants, promoting training and professional training, especially in the fields of information technology and administrative reform. The province will consider supporting funding for equipment procurement, providing guidance on integrated planning and completing the process of pending procedures./.
