According to the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Thanh Lam, in recent years, the road traffic infrastructure system has developed strongly, in a modern, focused and key direction, focusing on projects that are connected, widespread, and create momentum for socio -economic development. Connecting the local traffic system with the national traffic system and neighboring areas through existing national highways such as: National Highway 60, National Highway 57, National Highway 57B, National Highway 57C.
The province has coordinated to complete key works and projects such as: Upgrading National Highway 57, from Dinh Khao ferry to Mo Cay town. Upgrading National Highway 57B from the road to Rach Mieu bridge to Giao Long industrial park. Project DH.173 from Chau Thanh district martyrs cemetery to Battalion 516 monument (Provincial Road 883). Phase 1 - Project to build a saline-prevention dyke combined with a traffic route connecting Binh Dai - Ba Tri - Thanh Phu districts (Provincial Road 881). Project to build De Tay road, Binh Dai district. Rach Vong bridge. Phuoc My Trung bypass. Basically completed the project of the access road to Rach Mieu 2 bridge and the traffic route combined with the saline-prevention dyke connecting Mo Cay Nam - Thanh Phu districts (DH.17 project).
The province is coordinating the implementation of works and projects such as: Rach Mieu 2 Bridge Project. Phase 2 - Project to build a dike to prevent saltwater intrusion combined with a road connecting the coastal districts of Binh Dai - Ba Tri - Thanh Phu. Road from Giao Long port to Phu Thuan Industrial Park (DT.DK.07). Ba Lai 8 Bridge Project on the coastal road.
The province coordinates and implements investment procedures for works and projects: Coastal road project connecting Ben Tre province with Tien Giang province and Tra Vinh province under the DPO Program. Cua Dai bridge project. Co Chien 2 bridge project. North-South road serving Phu Thuan Industrial Park and Phong Nam Industrial Cluster (DT.DK.08). Ba Lai 6 bridge (DT.DK.08); Dinh Khao bridge construction project connecting Vinh Long and Ben Tre provinces.
The capital plan for projects is 28,967.709 billion VND; of which, completed and basically completed projects are 5,936.199 billion VND; projects under construction and about to be constructed are 10,396.51 billion VND; projects preparing for investment are 12,935 billion VND.
Up to now, the province has 7 industrial clusters established, with a total area of 267.94 hectares. 6 industrial clusters have been planned in detail with a total area of 249.4 hectares. 2 industrial parks and 3 industrial clusters have been invested and put into operation, including: Giao Long Industrial Park, An Hiep Industrial Park; Phong Nam Industrial Park, Thi Tran - An Duc Industrial Park, Tan Thanh Binh Industrial Park. In addition, in the province, there is also 1 Long Phuoc Industrial Park, Giao Long Commune - An Phuoc Commune, Chau Thanh District in operation. Currently, the province is focusing on mobilizing diverse resources to invest in completing the infrastructure system to serve industrial development. Districts and cities are actively calling for infrastructure investment as well as proposing solutions to arrange and mobilize capital sources, in order to develop industrial clusters in the management area....

Continue to complete projects and works
According to the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Thanh Lam, in the coming time, we will continue to propagate and mobilize to create consensus among cadres, party members and people in implementing works and projects. Focus on developing 3 types of transportation with advantages in the province (road traffic, inland waterways and sea routes) connecting types of transportation and logistics in the region and the whole country (river ports, sea ports, traffic bridges, roads, etc.) according to the planning and implementation plan of the Ben Tre Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050. Review and specify the provisions of the 2024 Land Law and regulations on the delimitation of authority of local authorities at 2 levels, decentralization and decentralization in the field of land as a basis for implementing transport works and projects. Check and appraise environmental impact assessment documents and land allocation procedures in accordance with regulations and in a timely manner. Focus on planning and land use plans according to regulations. Coordinate with investors to closely monitor the progress of implementation, promptly resolve difficulties and problems. Speed up progress, soon put works and projects into use step by step to meet the socio-economic development needs of the province.
Localities focus on directing the urgent completion of site clearance plans and early handover of construction sites for works and projects in the area. Study the mechanism, invite enterprises to invest in the form of socialization, public-private partnership according to current regulations for ports, inland waterways, wharves, warehouses, seaports, road traffic routes, inland waterways, seaways, cargo transit ports serving logistics activities; put into operation sand mines, to ensure proactive supply of construction materials for leveling the foundation for construction works in the province in the coming time. Study and implement projects to dredge canals and rivers to clear waterways, store fresh water in combination with exploiting, managing and effectively using mineral resources, contributing to increasing local budget revenue. Organize surveys and learn from the experiences of other provinces in constructing traffic and irrigation works to research and propose the construction of traffic and irrigation works in the province in a synchronous and effective manner, optimizing investment capital, ensuring effective adaptation to climate change, preventing natural disasters, preventing salinity, storing fresh water, and connecting traffic smoothly.
Focus on mobilizing all resources, speeding up the exploitation of public investment capital, taking advantage of capital sources from the Central Government and foreign capital sources to invest in key projects and works.
