With the overall theme of "Accelerating action and mobilizing all stakeholders to conserve and sustainably use the ocean", UNOC 3 is important and guides the preparation for the completion of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals expected by 2030.
The conference includes 10 plenary sessions and 10 thematic sessions on issues that the international community is facing and needs to promote international cooperation to attract and diversify financial, scientific and technological resources to be able to solve challenges and effectively manage the sea, bringing benefits for long-term development.
The conference attracted the attention and participation of many heads of state, leaders, and representatives of countries such as: Greece, Norway, Brazil, Peru, Costa Rica, Cabo-Verde, Comoros, Guinea-Bissau, Philippines, Indonesia, Japan, India, China, Cambodia, Vietnam...
The conference also brought together leaders of international organizations, such as the United Nations, the World Food Organization, and business leaders, international donors and marine environmental activists.
