This afternoon, the Admissions Council of Hanoi Medical University met and decided on the principles for determining the benchmark scores for majors that use many combinations for admission. Accordingly, the benchmark score B00 will be 5 points lower than C00.

Specifically, the principle of determining the standard deviation between combinations is as follows:

B00 is the original set. The difference between A00, B08 and B00 is 0. The difference between D01 and B00 is 3. The difference between C00 and B00 is 5.

For example, in the same psychology major, if the B00 combination benchmark is 22, the D01 combination benchmark is 25, and the C00 combination benchmark is 27.

This year, Hanoi Medical University recruits 1,910 students, with two methods: direct admission and 2025 high school graduation exam scores. The school uses 4 combinations for admission: B00, B08, A00, C00.

However, there are 5 medical majors (medicine, Thanh Hoa branch of medicine, traditional medicine, dentistry, preventive medicine) that only use the B00 combination for admission. Most bachelor majors use 2 combinations: A00, B00. There are 3 majors that use 3 combinations: psychology (B00, D01, C00); public health (B00, B08, D01); social work (B00, B08, A00). There are 2 majors, psychology and public health, that will have different standard scores corresponding to the combinations.

This year, many universities have announced the principles for determining the deviation between combinations when determining the floor score and standard score. The highest deviation so far is 3.5 points (C00 with D01, C00 with A00). Therefore, with the above regulation of Hanoi Medical University, 5 points is the highest deviation of standard scores between subject combinations at present.
