Doctor Tran Trung Thanh, Director of Luc Yen Regional Medical Center, said: The center has just saved the life of a pregnant woman with a ruptured ectopic pregnancy who was admitted to the hospital in critical condition.

Accordingly, on the morning of July 25, Ms. NTH, 29 years old, residing in Luc Yen commune, Lao Cai province, was hospitalized in a state of exhaustion, pale skin, rapid pulse, low blood pressure, and life-threatening. After examination, doctors diagnosed the patient with a ruptured ectopic pregnancy.

Thanks to timely blood transfusion, the patient has overcome the critical condition.

Realizing this was an emergency situation, the doctors and midwives of Department S immediately The doctor activated the red alert procedure, mobilizing all the forces of the operating room, obstetricians, anesthesiologists, resuscitators, nurses... to perform emergency surgery.

Ms. Pham Thanh Hue donated blood to save patients.

Due to a ruptured ectopic pregnancy, the patient lost a lot of blood and needed an urgent transfusion. Realizing that they had the same blood type, two staff members of the Luc Yen Regional Medical Center, Ms. Pham Thanh Hue and Mr. Dang Dinh Thao, volunteered to donate blood to the patient, helping the surgical team control the blood loss and save the mother in critical condition.
