Hanoi Police Club (CAHN) traveled to Thailand on May 19 and had its first training session in the afternoon of the same day in Buriram.

Kiatisak Senamuang, former coach of the Thai national team, although living in the capital Bangkok, surprised everyone when he came all the way to Buriram province to visit the training ground of the CAHN team.

At the training session, Kiatisak and head coach Alexandre Polking met and took a photo together. Kiatisak led the CAHN Club for a short period in 2024, so he had a memorable time working with the Vietnamese national team's stars. He asked about and encouraged his former students before the second leg of the ASEAN Club Championship final against Buriram United, taking place on May 21 at Chang Arena Stadium.

Some CAHN Club players such as Quang Hai and Van Thanh are familiar with Buriram United's home field, having come here with the Vietnamese national team under the leadership of coach Park Hang Seo to compete in the 2019 King's Cup.

Buriram United will have a big advantage in the second leg of the final, with a 2-2 draw against CAHN FC in the first leg. Tomorrow, May 20, representatives at the club will answer the press and have the last official training session before the rematch.

Also on May 19, Buriram United Club opened ticket sales for the second leg of the Southeast Asian Cup final, with 8 denominations ranging from 160 baht (about 126,000 VND) to 1,500 baht (about 1,178,000 VND). For the first leg, CAHN Club sold tickets at prices ranging from 120,000 VND to 240,000 VND.

Buriram United Club President, Mr. Newin Chidchob, hopes that under the cheers of home fans, Chang Arena will explode, living up to its nickname "Thunder Castle" to inspire and empower the players to win the championship.

"Everything is going according to plan. We will lift the trophy at home," said Newin Chidchob.
