The last two times England have been in the World Cup and Euro finals, the matches were both held in England. In 1966, England reached the final (and then won) in the tournament they played on home soil. And in the Euro 2020 final (England lost to Italy), the tournament three years ago (Euro 2020 is actually played in 2021) had many co-host countries, but the final still took place at Wembley Stadium in London (England).
