Major Nguyen Thi Ha Ban, a professional military officer, delivered a speech at the Women's Delegates Congress of the Regiment for the 2025-2030 term.

Wearing her white medical uniform, Major Nguyen Thi Ha Ban, a professional military officer and medical officer of Company 24, and President of the Women's Association of Regiment 5, is always spoken of with respect and affection by her comrades. Despite simultaneously undertaking two tasks – caring for the health of soldiers and organizing the Association's activities – she remains dedicated and meticulous, adhering to the motto "A good doctor is like a loving mother" in every aspect of her work.

At the unit, she and the medical team regularly conduct health check-ups for the soldiers; provide guidance on barracks hygiene and disease prevention; and ensure hygienic meals and appropriate nutrition. Regardless of the time of day or night, whenever a soldier falls ill, Ms. Ban is always there promptly, providing attentive care as if they were family members. Thanks to her efforts, the regiment maintains a health rate of over 99%, ensuring they are ready to successfully complete all assigned tasks.

Not only is she highly skilled professionally, but she is also a proactive learner, collaborating with her colleagues to improve her expertise; at the same time, she coordinates with the Division's Medical Corps to organize medical examinations, health consultations, and free distribution of medicine to people in border communes during civilian outreach campaigns.

"Working as a medical professional in the military is a huge responsibility. Caring for the health of soldiers is not only a professional duty, but also an expression of compassion and sharing. I always try my best so that each soldier can focus on training and work with peace of mind," Ms. Ban expressed.

Major Nguyen Thu Ngoc Ha, a professional military officer, introduces the 5th Division's Traditional House to students in the province for a visit and learning experience.

Major Nguyen Thu Ngoc Ha, a staff member of the Political Department's Library and President of the Women's Association of the agencies and units under the 5th Division, is described by her colleagues as a "three-in-one woman." Not only is she a dynamic and dedicated President of the Women's Association, but she also handles library work and serves as a broadcaster and editor for the unit. Despite her heavy workload and significant responsibilities, she always maintains a calm demeanor, a high sense of responsibility, and creativity in every task.

At the Divisional Library, Ms. Ha proactively organizes, manages, and updates books, newspapers, and documents to serve officers and soldiers in their studies and research, while also creating a friendly reading space and contributing to the spread of reading culture throughout the unit. With her expressive and warm voice, the news broadcasts she is in charge of each morning have become familiar sounds, boosting the morale and motivation of officers and soldiers as they begin a new day of training.

"Every task, big or small, once assigned, must be completed with all dedication and responsibility. I always believe that even the quiet, everyday tasks can contribute to building a positive image of women in the military," Ms. Ha shared.

Major Phan Thi Kim Oanh, a professional military officer, participates in the "Supporting Training Season" activity on the training ground.

As the Chairwoman of the Women's Association of Regiment 4, Major Phan Thi Kim Oanh is always considered a leading figure in the Association's movements and activities. With a sense of responsibility and dedication to her work, she has proactively advised, proposed, and implemented many new models and creative approaches, bringing practical effectiveness to the unit.

Ms. Oanh proactively collaborated with the Executive Committee of the Regiment's Women's Association and affiliated units in the area to organize many meaningful activities such as: "Supporting the Training Season," "Bottle and Leaf Fair - Protecting the Green Environment," "Spring for Soldiers," "Green Sunday," cultural and artistic exchanges, flower arrangement competitions, and culinary competitions on holidays, festivals, and political events throughout the year.

Not only is she creative in organizing movement activities, Ms. Oanh is also a pioneer in effectively implementing major campaigns such as: "Women helping each other develop family economy ", "Building families with 5 no's, 3 clean's; 5 yes's, 3 clean's", and "Women in the Army accompanying women in border areas" during the 2021-2025 period.

“As a fully-staffed unit with high training intensity and many overlapping and intertwined tasks, the working conditions are quite arduous. To ensure the Women's Union remains strong and attracts a large number of members, I myself must first be a truly exemplary person, setting a good example in both words and actions,” said Major Phan Thị Kim Oanh.

It can be said that every female officer and member in the 5th Division, regardless of their position, is constantly striving to affirm the courage, intelligence, responsibility, and compassionate heart of a woman in the Vietnam People's Army. They are beautiful flowers on the training ground, contributing to preserving and promoting the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the hearts of the people, and together building an increasingly strong border for the Fatherland.
