On the evening of May 18, Quy Nhon Binh Dinh held The Cong - Viettel to a 2-2 draw at Quy Nhon home field within the framework of round 23 of LPBank V-League 1 2024 - 2025.

After more than 10 minutes of VAR consultation, the referee still recognized the goal for Binh Dinh Club. The home fans breathed a sigh of relief after a nervous time waiting for VAR.

In the following minutes, the two teams continued to play an open game and created some notable situations. However, 2-2 was the final score of the match.

This draw helps Quy Nhon Binh Dinh return to the second-to-last position with 20 points, equal to SHB Da Nang but with a better goal difference. Coach Tran Minh Chien's team still has a chance to stay in the league as they still have 2 matches left to play.
