After parting ways with Ha Tinh Club, Leygley Adou Minh agreed to join Hanoi Police Club. He will play for the police team from the 2025-2026 season as an overseas Vietnamese player who does not yet have Vietnamese citizenship.
Wearing the Ha Tinh Club shirt from the 2024 - 2025 season, Adou Minh quickly showed his worth. With a height of 1m78, the French-born central defender is a reliable stopper in the defense, contributing significantly to the 22 unbeaten matches in a total of 26 rounds of the V-League last season.
This is also an unprecedented achievement in the history of Ha Tinh Club. The team under the leadership of coach Nguyen Thanh Cong regularly maintains a position in the top half of the rankings, even at times approaching the top team, before ending the V-League 2024 - 2025 in 5th place.
Not only did he play a good defensive role, Adou Minh also actively supported the attack and scored 1 goal and 1 assist after 22 appearances.
That performance easily helped Minh get noticed by clubs, with the desire to bring him back to increase competitiveness in the highest professional tournament in Vietnam.
Adou Minh was born in 1997, has a Vietnamese mother and a French father. He played in the French 4th division before returning to Vietnam. With the desire to be supported to acquire Vietnamese citizenship and the desire to wear the Vietnamese national team jersey, Adou Minh joined the Hanoi Police Club, the team that had a great influence on the national team tickets of Nguyen Filip and Cao Quang Vinh.
Adou Minh is the next overseas Vietnamese player to be brought in by the Hanoi Police Club after Brandon Ly. With the ambition to compete for the championship, the police team will continue to recruit more quality players to the squad in the near future.
