On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on July 25, leaders of the Department of Youth Affairs and Gender Equality (Ministry of Home Affairs), the Department of Home Affairs and Tran Lam Ward visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers: Nguyen Thi Nhi in Tran Tay village, Phan Thi Hoat in Tong Van village and a number of families of martyrs, war invalids and seriously ill soldiers in the area.
On this occasion, the ward leaders organized delegations to visit and present gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, policy families, and people with outstanding revolutionary contributions. The ward Party Committee and government organized visits, encouraged and presented 3,000 gifts worth over 300 million VND to war invalids, sick soldiers, families of martyrs, resistance fighters infected with Agent Orange, etc.; organized incense offering and candle lighting ceremonies to pay tribute to heroic martyrs.

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, An Thi commune organized many activities to pay tribute to heroic martyrs, people with meritorious services, and families of people with meritorious services to the revolution. The commune allocated the budget to present gifts to 820 people with meritorious services and relatives of people with meritorious services. Commune leaders visited and presented gifts to 15 policy families with especially difficult circumstances in the area, each gift worth 800,000 VND, including 500,000 VND in cash sponsored by the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, An Thi branch, along with a gift worth 300,000 VND and a tea set from the commune's budget. In addition, socio- political organizations visited and presented more than 40 gifts to war invalids, sick soldiers, and families of martyrs in the commune. Other activities were organized such as: visiting martyrs' cemeteries, lighting candles in gratitude, praying for the dead, taking care of martyrs' cemeteries in the area, expressing the deep gratitude of the local Party Committee, government and community to the generation of fathers and brothers who devoted themselves to the cause of national liberation, for the freedom and happiness of the people.
* Dai Dong Commune
On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), Dai Dong commune has given 634 gifts to people with meritorious services and relatives of people with meritorious services to the revolution in the commune. Each gift is worth 200,000 VND. The total cost of nearly 127 million VND was taken from the Commune Gratitude Fund.
Commune leaders directly visited and presented gifts to 9 people with meritorious services and relatives of people with meritorious services to the revolution who are Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and seriously wounded soldiers. Each gift is worth 800 thousand VND (including 500 thousand VND in cash and 1 gift bag worth 300 thousand VND).
Along with that, many other gratitude activities were also carried out on this occasion such as: Restoring works honoring martyrs; cooking a gratitude meal at the family of a Vietnamese Heroic Mother...
* Yen My Commune
Yen My commune established 3 delegations to visit and present nearly 2,500 gifts to show gratitude to policy families and people with revolutionary contributions in the area.
Of these, nearly 1,158 gifts from the President , each worth from 300,000 to 600,000 VND; 1,167 gifts, each worth from 900,000 to 1.5 million VND from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; 150 gifts from the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, each worth from 750,000 to 1.5 million VND... were given to the beneficiaries. In addition to the above meaningful activities, Yen My commune actively organized other gratitude activities such as: embellishing and renovating works honoring martyrs, lighting candles in gratitude, and offering incense to heroic martyrs.
* Than Khe Commune
On the afternoon of July 25 , Than Khe commune coordinated with Lam Hoa Hung Ha General Hospital to organize a program of medical examination, health care consultation and free medicine provision for nearly 100 people. 130 policy subjects, people with revolutionary contributions
At the program, doctors and nurses examined, checked, provided health care advice, instructed on treatment methods and provided free medicine to policy beneficiaries. people with revolutionary contributions to help them raise awareness of taking care of their own health. This is an activity practical, demonstrating the nation's morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", "Repaying gratitude", contributing to joining hands in taking care of health, contributing to improving the lives of policy beneficiaries and people contributed to the revolution in the area.
* Provincial Youth Union
The Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee directed 100% of the affiliated youth unions, the unions of communes and wards in the province to organize activities to pay tribute to heroic martyrs, people with meritorious services to the revolution, and policy families in the whole province, based on the actual situation, with the following activities: organizing candle lighting ceremonies; planting trees, repairing, embellishing, and cleaning cemeteries; memorial steles of historical sites; organizing visits and giving gifts...
The province has organized 256 clean-up campaigns at cemeteries and memorials across the province with the participation of more than 19,000 union members and youth; presented more than 900 gifts with a total value of nearly 500 million VND; organized more than 87 incense offering and red address activities, attracting more than 7,000 union members and youth to participate.
The Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee directed 100% of communes and wards in the province to simultaneously organize candle lighting ceremonies to pay tribute to heroic martyrs on the evening of July 26, 2025.
In particular, before the impact of storm No. 03, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee directed the Youth Unions of communes and wards to review and support 65 families of policy beneficiaries, war invalids, heroic Vietnamese mothers, and former youth volunteers in difficult circumstances to reinforce their houses, reinforce constructions, and protect their properties.
