Communication about legal aid activities and the right to legal aid of people with disabilities

On the morning of October 31, in Thai Binh ward, the State Legal Aid Center (Department of Justice) coordinated with the Provincial Association of People with Disabilities to organize a media conference on legal aid activities and the right to legal aid of people with disabilities.

300 delegates are members of the Provincial Association of People with Disabilities attending the conference.

At the conference, 300 members of the Provincial Association of the Disabled were introduced by officers of the State Legal Aid Center about the basic contents of the Law on Legal Aid, the right to legal aid of the disabled and related legal documents, integrating legal topics on policies for the disabled, land, marriage and family... The delegates received legal advice, continued to carry out cases after consultation, ensuring the rights and legitimate interests of the disabled who are eligible for legal aid.

The conference contributes to raising public awareness of the rights of people with disabilities, ensuring timely and effective response to the legal aid needs of people with disabilities eligible for legal aid; helping people with disabilities improve their understanding of the law and respect for law enforcement, contributing to maintaining security and political stability in the locality.
