Coach Troussier received a surprise gift before his debut with the Vietnamese team

Before the afternoon practice session on June 14, Coach Troussier received a special gift from Hai Phong fans.

Fans of Hai Phong gave him a picture printed on the Vietnamese national flag.

The French coach was very surprised and happy to receive this meaningful gift from the audience.

Returning to the afternoon training session on June 14, the French coach continued to train his players on short passes, accurate transfers, team coordination and ball control.

Overall, up to this point the players have basically met the requirements set out by Mr. Troussier.

But to make the system operate smoothly still requires a very long time of training.

Coach Troussier shared: “After a week of training, I appreciate that every player has made a great effort to comply and establish the first steps in how to operate and organize the game.

They trained hard and showed great determination. I was pleased with the attitude of the students.

I try to convey as much knowledge as possible so that they can enter the field to compete despite the tight schedule.

With practical ability and acquired knowledge, I hope the Vietnamese team will have a good performance."

As planned, the match between Vietnam and Hong Kong will take place at 7:30 p.m. on June 15 at Lach Tray Stadium.
