Support for housing and livelihoods for poor fishermen

Mr. Huynh Tan Tinh, Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross Society, said that the Da Lat City Red Cross Society (Lam Dong Province) has just awarded more than 88 million VND from the Safety program for poor and disadvantaged fishermen to the Provincial Red Cross Society.

Implementing the goal of Humanitarian Month 2025 with the Safety program for poor and disadvantaged fishermen as launched by the Central Association, the Red Cross Emulation Cluster of the Central Coastal Provinces - Central Highlands and the Humanitarian Journey - Spreading Love, the working delegation of the Red Cross Society of Da Lat City shared with Phu Yen province the results of the above program.

Accordingly, the delegation presented Phu Yen Red Cross Society with a symbolic plaque of VND 88.1 million to help build a Red Cross house, support livelihoods (buying fish, repairing nets, repairing boats) for 10 families, and donate 10 first aid kits and common medicines to help fishermen ensure safety at sea.

On this occasion, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Thanh, Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross Society, also presented a water filtration system worth 40 million VND to poor households and disadvantaged policy families in Phu Yen.
