According to CNTraveller, Hoa Binh is a province located in the North of Vietnam, famous for its endless rice fields, home to a number of ethnic minorities in the mountains such as H'Mong, Muong, and Dao.
Rich local cuisine is also a point of attraction for tourists to Hoa Binh.
Typical mountain dishes such as bamboo rice, grilled chicken, wild boar, grilled fish, sticky rice, and wild vegetables are often served at restaurants or in resorts.
In addition to impressive natural landscapes, CNTraveller experts also select destinations based on criteria such as cultural and historical values, friendliness of local people, rich cuisine and experiential activities for tourists.
This year's list is also emphasized by CNTraveller editors to be in no particular order.
Besides Hoa Binh of Vietnam, some other representatives in Asia also had the honor of appearing in the list of the most beautiful destinations in the world this year of CNTraveller : Raja Ampat Island and Bali (Indonesia); Hong Kong (China) and Zhangye Danxia Geopark (China); Bayon Temple (Cambodia); Jodhpur City (India); Mount Fuji, the ancient capital of Kyoto and Arashiyama Bamboo Forest (Japan).
