Miss Ý Nhi in the top 8 Charity Projects at Miss World

The Gala Night “Beauty With A Purpose - Beauty for a noble purpose” of the 72nd Miss World contest took place on the evening of May 26.

This event aims to honor the passionate charity projects that Miss World contestants have carried out, thereby recognizing their positive contributions to society and the community.

At the Gala night, the Miss World Organizing Committee officially announced the list of Top 8 Best Charity Projects within the framework of the "Beauty With A Purpose" competition.

Vietnam's representative, Miss Huynh Tran Y Nhi, was named for her project of donating bookshelves and repairing schools called "Heart To Head", also known as "Journey of Heart and Mind".

The “Heart To Head” project was founded by Miss Ý Nhi to bring positive changes to children in difficult circumstances. She went directly to each school in remote areas to donate bookcases and repair and renovate degraded facilities.

Miss Ý Nhi kicked off the project with a trip to Quảng Nam province, bringing knowledge and joy to children in Nam Trà My district. Here, Miss World Vietnam 2023 surveyed, painted and donated bookcases to Mang Priu Primary School and Tak Ngo Primary School.

After that, Y Nhi continued to bring "Heart To Head" to other provinces and cities such as: Lam Dong, Long An, Tien Giang, Ben Tre, Vinh Long, Dong Thap, Can Tho, Hau Giang, Binh Thuan, Binh Dinh as well as Ho Chi Minh City.

After many months, Miss Ý Nhi and “Heart To Head” traveled through 12 provinces and cities, presenting a total of 20 bookcases. On average, each bookcase contained more than 300 books, including comics, fairy tales, life lessons, history books, and books on life skills.

Being in the Top 8 of “Beauty With A Purpose” is a proud achievement and a worthy recognition for Miss Ý Nhi’s tireless efforts throughout the journey of implementing the project “Heart To Head”. Notably, Miss Ý Nhi is one of two representatives from the Asia- Pacific region named in the Top 8 alongside the beauty from Indonesia.

Currently, Miss Ý Nhi is more than halfway through her journey at Miss World. The Vietnamese representative has demonstrated her mettle and ability through competitions including Sport, Talent, Head To Head Challenge and Top Model.

The 72nd Miss World final is scheduled to take place on May 31. The judges will select the Top 40 according to 4 continental regions, then continue to narrow down to the Top 20, Top 8 and Top 4. Each continental region will have one winner, competing for the title of Miss and 3 runners-up.
