The concert "What remains forever" will take place at 2:00 p.m. on September 2 at Ho Guom Theater.
Pianist Luong Khanh Nhi returned from the US to participate for the first time, performing Song Lo with the Sun Symphony Orchestra. Singer Tung Duong will perform Song Dak Krong, Spring Comes, and at the same time expressed his pride: “ Singing on National Day is my way of showing gratitude to my ancestors. Meritorious Artist Lan Anh returns to Voice of the Pac Bo Forest and says that What remains forever is not only a stage for singing but also a place to live with the flow of traditional music in a luxurious symphony space.
Music director Tran Manh Hung said that What Remains Forever 2025 is a musical journey, taking the audience through the lands where the liberation army once set foot: from the Central Highlands, Binh Tri Thien, South Central Coast, South to Ho Chi Minh City.
The audience will meet again a series of works that have been through the years: Towards Hanoi , Song of Hanoi, Sending you the poem conical hat, Nha Trang in autumn, Wind blowing in all directions, Saigon is so beautiful, Hue - Saigon - Hanoi, A lap of Vietnam , along with folk melodies such as Cham Pa Thei Mai folk songs, Folk songs and Hue royal court music...
Musician Tran Manh Hung emphasized: “What remains forever is not the light music stage, but the academic program. Not every song can be adapted into a symphony. Lyrical melodies about love between couples will be different from majestic melodies about the country. Selecting works is always a process of consideration so that each performance is worthy and most representative.

Music Director Tran Manh Hung.
Sharing at the press conference, Editor-in-Chief of VietNamNet Newspaper Nguyen Van Ba said that this year there are many music programs and art performances, so the Organizing Committee had to work for many months to develop ideas.
"We realize that we need to balance between novelty, audience expectations and academic value. There are songs that are very heroic on the big stage, but when put into a symphony space, they are not suitable. Therefore, we have to consider carefully, both maintaining the artistic identity and meeting the professional requirements set by the Music Director, " said Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Van Ba.
Under the direction of French conductor Olivier Ochanine, along with the Sun Symphony Orchestra and a cast of leading artists, What Remains 2025 promises to bring a magnificent epic, both luxurious and full of emotion, continuing nearly two decades of affirming its brand in Vietnam's artistic life.
