On August 26, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Training , Thien Long Group and other units held a press conference on the program "Sharing with teachers" in 2025.

The organizers said that this year's "Sharing with Teachers" program chose to honor and show gratitude to teachers in 248 border communes and special zones, along with teachers wearing green uniforms (border guards and soldiers who eradicate illiteracy in the stationed areas).
It is expected that 80 of the most outstanding teachers will come to Hanoi to be honored. For the remaining teachers, the honoring ceremony will be held locally so that the gratitude can spread more widely.
Criteria for selecting teachers to be honored: Having good moral character and lifestyle; having many contributions to educating local students, creating remarkable changes in the quality and effectiveness of education; having a spirit of perseverance in overcoming difficulties, being dedicated to the cause of education, being loved by students, parents and the community.
Priority is given to teachers with many years of experience; young teachers who volunteer to teach in the locality; teachers with excellent achievements in their work. Time of direct teaching participation is from 3 years or more.
Mr. Nguyen Tuong Lam, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Central Youth Union of Vietnam, said that over the years, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union have always identified supporting the education cause in remote, border, island areas, and ethnic minority areas with especially difficult conditions as one of the priority areas, with many practical programs: "Beautiful schools for children", "Boarding houses for children", "Support to go to school"...

In particular, since 2015, on the occasion of November 20 - Vietnamese Teachers' Day, the program "Sharing with teachers" was initiated.
"This is a symbolic activity, a profound humanitarian gesture to encourage and share with teachers who are working day and night in mountainous, border, island and particularly difficult areas, as well as special education teachers, teachers of reform schools and officers and soldiers in green uniforms who persistently carry the burden of education on the Fatherland's borders," said Mr. Nguyen Tuong Lam.
At the same time, the program has also aroused the spirit of shock, volunteerism, and enthusiasm of young teachers and youth volunteers to bring knowledge to children of ethnic minorities in remote and disadvantaged areas of the country; at the same time, calling on organizations, units, businesses and philanthropists to support, accompany, and contribute to teaching and learning in disadvantaged localities.
The organizers said that in 2025, the program will be organized with many changes in both content and form, becoming a long-term campaign from September to November, combining direct and online activities, mobilizing many organizations, businesses and social resources to provide practical support for teachers.
The scale of the commendation is a record. At the same time, this year we will increase communication activities via social networks.
It is expected that a series of activities to honor and show gratitude to teachers will take place in November and the 2025 "Sharing with Teachers" program will be held on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20, in Hanoi.
The program “Sharing with teachers” aims to encourage, motivate and show gratitude to teachers working in remote, border, island areas, areas with difficult socio-economic conditions; teachers educating special subjects, who have made many contributions to the cause of educating and nurturing the younger generation. Over the past 10 years of organizing the program, 576 teachers have made many contributions to the cause of education.
