Complete housing support for people with revolutionary contributions

As of July 27, housing support for people with revolutionary contributions has been completed.

The Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions said that as of July 27, 2025, housing support for people with revolutionary contributions was 100% completed, reaching about 41,800 units (including houses under construction).

This is a meaningful milestone on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day this year.

Last week, one more locality, Ca Mau province, announced the completion of the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses, bringing the total number of localities that have completed the work to 19/34 (reaching a rate of 55.9%).

In addition, 6 localities have started construction on 100% of the houses in need of support: Cao Bang, Phu Tho, Dien Bien, Quang Nam, Dak Lak, Gia Lai.

Along with that, on July 19, 2025, the Prime Minister decided to allocate nearly 1,940 billion VND from the increased central budget revenue in 2024 (to support housing for households of people with revolutionary contributions and relatives of martyrs according to Decision No. 21/2024/QD-TTg.

According to the data reported by localities on the software updated by July 27, 2025, the whole country has supported the elimination of 268,470 temporary and dilapidated houses. Of which, 234,975 houses were inaugurated and 33,495 houses were under construction or under construction.

Specifically, support for about 41,800 houses for people with revolutionary contributions, 100% completed (including houses under construction).

Support 88,644 houses under 2 national target programs, including the inauguration of 82,244 houses and the commencement and construction of 6,400 houses.

Housing support under the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses is 129,065 units, including 110,392 completed units and 18,673 units under construction and under construction.
