Refunding more than 400 billion VND of capital for Bien Hoa

Accordingly, in 2025, the capital plan for the implementation of the sub-project of compensation and resettlement support for Component 1 of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project is 470 billion VND. However, the remaining capital demand of the project is only over 55 billion VND, so the capital that is not needed to be used, more than 414 billion VND, has been reported by the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to be adjusted down to allocate for projects that need additional capital.

Component 1 of Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project, the section passing through Dong Nai province, is 16km long. The project starts at Vo Nguyen Giap Street, Phuoc Tan Ward, Dong Nai Province; the end point (at Km16+000) connects with Component 2 in Long Thanh Commune, Dong Nai Province. The project requires land use of nearly 138 hectares in 5 wards and communes including Phuoc Tan, Tam Phuoc, Long Thanh, Binh An, An Phuoc, Dong Nai Province. In the project implementation area, there are more than 2,500 households affected.

According to the adjusted total project investment, Component 1 of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project has a total investment of nearly VND 6.7 trillion, of which compensation, support and resettlement costs are nearly VND 3.5 trillion.

The Prime Minister requested that Component 1 of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project must complete technical traffic before December 19, 2025. Currently, the project investor, the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, is requesting contractors to concentrate maximum human resources, machinery, and overtime to complete the project's technical traffic opening target in accordance with the Prime Minister's request.
