On the evening of January 11, the final night of the Miss Ao Dai Heritage Vietnam 2024 contest took place at the Son Tay Culture, Information and Sports Center, Hanoi.

This contest was held for the first season with the desire to honor Vietnamese Ao Dai. The final night had 30 beauties competing in the following competitions: Ao Dai, evening gown, and behavior.

Miss Vietnam Ao Dai Heritage named Hoang Chau Anh

In the final result, beauty Hoang Chau Anh from Cao Bang won the crown of Miss Ao Dai Heritage Vietnam 2024.

Hoang Chau Anh also won two additional awards including Miss Talent and Miss Best Behavior.

The title of first runner-up was awarded to beauty Do Thu Hien ( Quang Ninh ). The title of second runner-up belonged to Ha Hong Gam (Thanh Hoa).

The 3rd and 4th runner-up titles were awarded to the beauties Nguyen Thi Thao (Hai Duong) and Le Thi Ngoc Lan (Thanh Hoa) respectively.

In addition, the organizing committee also awarded the following secondary awards: Inspirational Beauty and Compassionate Beauty (beauty Le Thi Ngoc Lan), Best Ao Dai Dress (Bui Quynh Anh), Media Beauty (Nguyen Ngoc Thuy Tien), Evening Gown Beauty (Cao Anh Thu)...

In the behavioral round, Hoang Chau Anh received a question from Miss Ngoc Chau:

“The Vietnamese women's ao dai has existed for a long time, going through many changes in the nation's history, but until now it still affirms its value and is closely associated with the image of Vietnamese women. Why do you think it has been preserved like that?”

Hoang Chau Anh shared: “The reason why the ao dai can survive through the ups and downs of history and is still closely associated with the image of Vietnamese women is for two main reasons.

Firstly, the ao dai is not only a costume but also a cultural symbol, honoring the physical beauty and soul of gentle, resilient, and courageous Vietnamese women.

Second, the ao dai is always renewed to suit each period without losing its core features.

That flexibility helps the ao dai both preserve its traditional identity and become an endless source of inspiration in modern fashion.

To me, the ao dai is the soul of the nation. Every time I wear the ao dai, I feel the cultural beauty and a deep sense of responsibility to preserve and spread that value.”

The organizers said that Miss Ao Dai Heritage Vietnam will represent the country in the Miss Tourism World 2025 contest, hosted by Vietnam.

The first runner-up will represent Vietnam in the Miss Icon International 2025 contest, the second runner-up will compete in the Miss Multinational contest, the third runner-up will compete in the Miss Environment contest , and the fourth runner-up will compete in the Miss Bikini World contest.

Hoang Chau Anh was born in 2005, from Cao Bang, 1.73m tall. Since high school, she has won a series of achievements: IELTS certificate 6.5, first prize in physics at the school-level Olympic competition, second prize in the provincial Science and Technology competition, and promising prize at the national Science and Technology competition.

At the Foreign Trade Charm Contest 2024 , Hoang Chau Anh entered the top 5, winning the titles of Most Popular Miss (Miss Popular), top 5 Miss Talent, top 3 Miss Charity.
