(Dan Tri) - Hoang My An said she once suffered from a blood infection and at times thought she would have to put aside her passion for art to pursue a lighter job.
On October 23, Hoang My An held a performance, announcing the EP (extended play) named Phieu An . On this occasion, the female singer also opened up about her journey pursuing music .
Starting out as a dancesport dancer, having won many prestigious awards, Hoang My An later turned to music and left many impressions. However, a health incident happened to her in 2022, forcing her to cancel all her schedules for treatment.

Hoang My An revealed that it was a time of crisis for her when the wound took a turn for the worse, leading to blood infection, leaving behind a large scar. The female singer once thought of temporarily putting aside her passion for singing to pursue a lighter job.
However, the 9X singer received encouragement from family and friends and made a strong comeback, leaving an impression with the image of Bach Khong Tuoc in the Masked Singer 2023 program and a professional performance style on stage.
EP Phieu An is inspired by the way Hoang My An experiences daily life, positive and full of bright emotions. The product consists of 4 songs with strong dance pop colors, reflecting the common story of young girls on the journey to discover the range of emotions in love and life.
The performance gathered many famous artists who are also close friends of Hoang My An such as Kathy Uyen, runner-up Thuy Van, Doan Trang, Phuong My Chi... Hoang My An made a strong impression with her skillful dance performances, combined with her powerful live singing voice.

Hoang My An's mother also said that she was happy and moved when following her youngest daughter's journey of musical maturity: "She practiced dancing continuously for 4-5 months with teacher John Huy Tran to have an explosive performance like today, which makes me very proud.
I hope you will receive more love from the audience and reap many sweet fruits on the musical path that you have determined to pursue."
The singer's mother also revealed that the investment cost for this project was entirely Hoang My An's savings throughout her years of singing, and the family only provided support and encouragement.
