Having attended a vocational training class on civil engineering, Mr. Lu Van Kim, Xin Chai village, Chien Pho commune, has gained more knowledge and skills to apply to his work. Mr. Kim said: “Before attending the class, I mainly worked based on experience, not mastering basic techniques, so sometimes the work was difficult and had to be repaired many times. After being trained properly, I am more confident in my work, ensuring that the works are of good quality, safe and more sustainable. In addition, I also have the opportunity to exchange and learn from the experiences of teachers and classmates, helping me to broaden my knowledge and have more relationships in the profession. From there, I have more job opportunities and a more stable income than before.”
Ms. Lu Thi Dau, Ngai Thau village, Thanh Tin commune said: “Previously, my family's income was mainly from rice cultivation, so it was quite unstable and the economy was not stable. After participating in a short-term training course on safe vegetable growing techniques organized by the district, I converted my family's 0.6 ha to vegetable growing. Up to now, my family has an additional income of about 20 million VND/year from growing vegetables such as cabbage, kohlrabi, and beans."
