According to the People's Committee of Con Dao District, the Covid-19 epidemic situation in the locality is complicated, with more than 130 cases of infection in the community recorded from February 14 to 21. Of which, nearly 80 F0 cases are students, teachers, and school staff.
To control and prevent the epidemic from spreading in the community, the People's Committee of Con Dao District directed educational institutions to proactively switch from in-person to online teaching from February 22 according to the plan developed at the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year.
In another development, according to a report from the Covid-19 Prevention and Control Command Center of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, from February 14 to 21, the whole province recorded more than 2,000 new infections, an increase of 961 cases compared to the previous 7 days.

To date, Ba Ria-Vung Tau has had more than 600,000 people vaccinated with the third dose (reaching 65.66% of the province's population). Recently, the Ministry of Health has decided to allocate 155,400 doses of Moderna vaccine to Ba Ria-Vung Tau province. If all of this quantity is vaccinated, this province will have more than 99% of the population fully vaccinated with 3 doses of Covid-19 vaccine.
Ba Ria-Vung Tau province has requested departments, branches and localities to develop plans to prepare for vaccination for children and students aged 5-11 while waiting for instructions from the Ministry of Health.
