Hanoi students 'follow the trend' of forming the national flag using conical hats

304 students of the Vietnam - Australia Inter-level School in Hanoi formed a map of Vietnam and the national flag using conical hats, sending a message of patriotism from the hearts of youth.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South - National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the Vietnam - Australia Inter-level School in Hanoi organized a special cultural - dialogue program with the theme: "Shape of the Fatherland - Pride of Vietnam".

The emotional highlight was the collective performance of 304 students – the number symbolizing the historic day of April 30. Together, they created an image of the map of Vietnam and the national flag using conical hats – a traditional cultural symbol.

This is a combination of installation art and modern technology to convey a message about national spirit in the new era.

“We want students to not only learn about history, but also touch history with real emotions. The images of the map and the national flag created by the students themselves will be unforgettable memories,” said Principal Quach Minh Huong.

Each hat, each step in the performance creates a beautiful image, symbolizing the unity and national pride nurtured from vivid history lessons - where students not only "learn" but also "live" with history.

Unique art performances, combining tradition and modernity such as drums, flag dancing... Each performance is a slice of emotion - helping students understand that "love for the country is not something big, but starts from being grateful, remembering and spreading good values".

In addition to the series of events celebrating the 50th anniversary of national reunification, there are also activities to integrate and promote English skills and creative thinking of high school students with the seminar "Vietnam - US Relations: Imprints and Opportunities for Youth". The seminar is conducted entirely in English.

The seminar helps students develop their language skills, critical thinking and public speaking skills – essential skills in the era of integration.

From white hats, colored papers, meaningful historical films, each student feels the spirit of "peace - freedom" in their own way.

This is an integrated cultural and dialogue event – where history, art, technology and foreign languages come together, creating a comprehensive and emotional learning experience for students. At the same time, it helps them develop a love for their country.
