Mark the memory
“The bustling lessons and dynamic physical education hours gradually became memories for the members of class 12A1. Goodbye high school, goodbye friends, teachers, goodbye Ton Duc Thang High School”, those are the opening words in the video sent by students of class 12A1, Ton Duc Thang High School (Gia Lai) to participate in the contest “My class is number 1” in 2022. A video sharing about what they have experienced together: studying together, playing together, growing up together and parting together…
For everyone, high school is probably the most unforgettable time. It is the days of playing pranks with friends and also the days of “studying day and night” for the university entrance exam. Not knowing whether we will be together in the future or each of us will go our separate ways, everyone feels regretful and wants to record this memorable moment.
“No one can get younger, and no one can go back to the innocent days of school. That period of time is the most beautiful, meaningful and must be preserved,” shared Dr. Mai Duc Toan, Director of the Media Admissions Center, Gia Dinh University.
That is also the reason and inspiration for Gia Dinh University to organize the contest "My School is Number 1" in 2024. The contest is open to all high school students and students of the Center for VocationalEducation - Continuing Education (Center) nationwide, to create opportunities for students to exchange, connect, learn and preserve memories under the roof of high school.
Sharing about the contest, Dr. Mai Duc Toan, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest, said: “Thanks to the attention of teachers and students, the contest has been very successful over the years. Each school participating in the contest has shown its own unique color. Students have had a playground to be confident, discover their own abilities and capabilities, and at the same time record beautiful memories of their school years.”
After 2 seasons, the contest received the response of many high school students.
