Dien Bien TV - On December 29, in Jiangcheng District, Pu'er City, Yunnan Province, China, the opening ceremony of the 2024 Vietnam - China - Laos Border Fair took place. Attending the opening ceremony were comrade Duong Trieu Vu, Deputy Mayor of Pu'er City People's Government and relevant agencies and units of Jiangcheng District, Pu'er City. On Dien Bien Province's side, there was comrade Tran Quoc Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

This fair is organized with many important activities such as: Displaying and exhibiting special products of China - Laos - Vietnam; organizing trade promotion activities; Muong Khang border fair; exhibition of paintings on buffalo bodies; unique carving art and cultural and artistic performances...
The fair attracted nearly 300 booths of 200 businesses from all three countries.
The fair is organized to create conditions for businesses of the three countries to display and promote their typical and strong products; OCOP products and typical rural industrial products with export potential.
Thereby creating conditions to promote trade between border districts and cities; at the same time creating opportunities and a favorable environment for entrepreneurs to invest in startups in Jiangcheng District and Pu'er City, contributing to enhancing economic - trade, education, health care, and cultural tourism cooperation between the three countries.
Over 8 fairs, the cumulative trading volume reached 125 million yuan, 55 projects were signed with a total investment of over 23.23 billion yuan.
The 2024 Vietnam-China-Laos Border Fair with the theme "Strengthening the three-country exchange relationship - Seeking opportunities for common development" will take place from December 29, 2024 to January 3, 2025./.
