Nearly 200 million VND to support Nghe An people affected by storm No. 3

Joining hands to support people in Nghe An province who suffered damage after storm No. 3, a volunteer group of people from Chiem Hoa, Kim Binh, and Hoa An communes organized to give gifts to people in Ta Do, Xop Phe villages, Muong Tit commune, and Tuong Duong commune.

The delegation presented 100 gifts of essential necessities, each including: 10kg of rice, 1kg of roasted peanuts, fish sauce, cooking oil, dried food and some other essential necessities to 50 households in Ta Do and Xop Phe villages (Muong Tit commune); presented cash to 70 households; presented 30 boxes of instant noodles to Muong Tit Kindergarten and Ta Do Kindergarten; presented necessities to the People's Committee of Muong Tit commune and presented 2 gifts to 2 disadvantaged families in Tuong Duong and Muong Xen communes. The total value of the gifts was nearly 200 million VND from contributions from people in Chiem Hoa, Kim Binh, Hoa An communes, the Traffic Police Station km27 of the Provincial Police, and a group of 1979 classmates living and working in and outside the country.

The timely, meaningful and practical gifts have helped people affected by storm No. 3 somewhat ease their difficulties and are a source of spiritual encouragement to help them overcome the damage left by the storm.
