In particular, the domestic pavilion area is expected to have about 120 - 150 standard pavilions and is divided into 3 sub-areas including: Area of pavilions for seeds, materials, and equipment serving sustainable agricultural production; Area of pavilions for high-quality agricultural products with products in the group of key products at the national and provincial levels. Products with high export value, products with competitive strengths and products in the national OCOP program; Area of pavilions for localities and associations.

The international pavilion area has a scale of about 20 - 30 standard pavilions, with the participation of countries including: China, Korea, countries in the ASEAN region, Russia, Belarus, ... and foreign enterprises, organizations, joint venture companies. Of which, there are about 10 - 15 pavilions of Chinese agricultural equipment, machinery, and materials enterprises and 5 - 10 pavilions of agricultural enterprises from other countries.

Within the framework of the Fair, there will be a thematic workshop in both direct and online formats. Specifically, the workshop on developing green and sustainable agriculture associated with the rural tourism model; the workshop on "Propaganda and promoting the consumption of typical products and specialties of mountainous, remote and island areas on e-commerce platforms in 2023"; organizing a trade conference between Vietnamese and foreign enterprises.

Speaking at the Press Conference, Mr. Nguyen Minh Tien - Director of the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center - said that overcoming difficulties in fluctuations of the world economy, global epidemics, climate change, and changing consumption trends, Vietnamese agriculture is always considered a "pillar" for the economy.

With the shift in thinking from agricultural production to agricultural economics, Vietnamese agriculture is developing strongly in the direction of integrating multiple values, being environmentally friendly, minimizing production costs but still meeting the increasing requirements for quality and food safety to protect consumers' health.

The level of agricultural, forestry and fishery processing is increasingly improved, with advanced technology and equipment; products are diverse, high quality, and favored by customers in many countries.

Vietnam's total export turnover of agricultural, forestry and fishery products in the first 8 months of 2023 is estimated at 33.21 billion USD, down 9.5% due to the decrease in export value of many main export products compared to the same period last year. In addition to the 3 groups of aquatic, forestry and production input products, some groups of products have increased export value such as: Agricultural products, rice, cashew nuts, coffee and livestock products.

Based on signals from the agricultural sector, in order to continue realizing the major goals set for growth, sustainable development, and international integration, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development determined to resolutely remove obstacles and open the market for Vietnamese agricultural products through many solutions, including a group of solutions to develop the agricultural product consumption market through activities connecting supply and demand and connecting consumption.

AgroViet 2023 is one of the important trade promotion events to promote and expand international economic cooperation and exchange, promote brands, products, trade transactions, honor agricultural, forestry and fishery products, OCOP products, high-quality agricultural specialties of localities across the country. This is also an opportunity for businesses and cooperatives to consolidate and exploit domestic and export markets.
