Leaders of the Red Cross Emulation Cluster of the North Central provinces presented humanitarian housing projects   worth 60 million VND at the conference

Despite facing natural disasters, climate change and socio -economic difficulties, the provinces in the cluster have made efforts to effectively implement humanitarian activities. Notably, the "Humanitarian Tet" movement with more than 213,000 gifts, worth over 110 billion VND. "Humanitarian Month" supported more than 60,000 people, worth nearly 31 billion VND through free medical examinations, bicycles, scholarships, house building, etc.

The campaign “Millions of Kind Steps” converted into more than 751 million VND to support the needy. Many meaningful programs such as “Safety for Fishermen”, “Nutrition for Poor Children”, “Cow Bank” continued to be maintained effectively.

The entire cluster has received more than 84,400 units of blood, with 156 people registering to donate tissues and organs. Disaster prevention and response work is focused on with more than 4,000 members of response teams ready to support. The total value of the entire cluster's activities reached more than 205 billion VND, helping more than 340,000 people.

Speaking at the conference, Vice President and General Secretary of the Central Committee Nguyen Hai Anh acknowledged the efforts of localities and suggested continuing to improve the effectiveness of movements and prepare well for the upcoming storm season.

In the last 6 months of the year, the Cluster focused on perfecting the organizational structure, promoting social security, voluntary blood donation, natural disaster prevention and early launching of "Humanitarian Tet" in 2026.
