In order to ensure blood reserves for treatment and emergency care in the western region, the Hai Phong City Red Cross will open a fixed blood donation point.

This blood donation point is located at the Hai Phong Red Cross Society’s second facility at 2 Phan Boi Chau Street, Thanh Dong Ward. The permanent blood donation point will begin operating from July 20. The amount of blood received will be prioritized for the following hospitals: Hai Duong General Hospital, Hai Duong Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital… to meet the needs of emergency and on-site treatment.

The West Hai Phong area is maintaining 15 clubs, teams, and voluntary blood donation groups with nearly 1,000 members. When receiving information requesting support for blood donation, members actively responded. However, due to the large number of blood units needed to meet treatment needs and the need for different blood types at different times, the community's support and joint efforts to donate blood to save lives are needed.
