Vietnam Red Cross Society provides second round of emergency relief to people in 6 provinces affected by storm No. 10

On October 2, the Vietnam Red Cross Central Committee continued to deploy the second emergency relief mission for people in the northern and central mountainous provinces heavily affected by storm No. 10 and its circulation.

During this period, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross provided relief money and goods worth more than 3.4 billion VND (including goods and cash from the campaign "Joining hands to overcome floods" in coordination with the Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam) to support people in the provinces of Cao Bang, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai and Quang Tri.

Representatives of the Vietnam Red Cross Society presented boxes of goods to support people in flood-hit areas in Ha Tinh.

Relief resources include cash, household goods boxes, emergency water purification packs and home repair kits.

Along with that, the Vietnam Red Cross Society continues to promote the "Join hands to overcome floods" campaign until October 30, calling for the cooperation and contribution of organizations, businesses and people nationwide to support the disaster areas.
